DATES FOR TV GAMES RELEASED 2024/25

We played a derby match at Anfield in the 70s on National day.

11am kick off I think and Fairclough scored the winner in injury time.

The National attendances were much smaller then and a lower proportion of local people attending than currently so the police could handle it.

I can remember a game against Portsmouth on a Saturday morning as well.
More recently we did. Fulham snotted us 2 years ago anyway I think

It was 9th April 2022 and we beat Man Utd 1-0 in a 12.30 kick off and the National was at 17.15.
Seems not to be an issue looking back over the last 20 years, and the Fulham and United games were on race day the last 2 times we clashed with the big race.
Maybe it would be an issue if Newcastle were due in town, given their history of horse punching.

I remember that. Loads of buses outside to get everyone to Aintree. Seems a struggle these days to get people to BMD
