Enjoying it so far. Although Cantona always comes across well in whatever he's in.

I reckon the strikers he played with would say he wasn't overrated, he was a striker's dream
Still one of the GOAT cross

Yes, because football moved on from 20+ years ago? lolKnock it to the lad out wide and smash it at the 6 yard box from deep. Dyche would get slated for that on here.
If you could somehow teleport that United team in their prime and the arsenal teamI’m enjoying it so far. Even his missus comes across as decent when she’s normally got a face like a slapped arse.
I hate to admit it but that United team really did play some great football.
Biggest fraud to ever come out the game.
Nothing but a conman and a PR savvy charlatan.
I always thought that it was Victoria that was the 'savvy' one and made Beckham what he was/is.Don't really get this point of view bar him being PR savvy which is hardly a crticism imo
Most people who are conmen and frauds don't have everyone they've worked with saying what a standup guy they are. The guy is well liked for a reason and seems far more likely he's popular because he's just a good bloke than because he's some master manipulator.

Seems to be an extremely ambitious person. He loves limelight and is obviously a bit of an attention seeker which I think rubs people the wrong way but considering where he’s come from he’s achieved an awful lot in life. Wouldn’t surprise me to see him going for a big role one day like head of FIFA or UEFANot to mention he was shrewd to consider his financial life after football and be upfront about it, given human lifespans are about 80yrs and the lifespan of a professional soccer player is about 20-25yrs. He certainly enjoyed the limelight and marrying a celebrity didn't help, but I find no fault in his ability to market himself while also play at a high level.
Wouldn’t be shocked by that at all. I guess he’d have to sell his stake in Inter Miami but that will probably make him hundreds of millions and it’s not a move he has to make anytime soon.Seems to be an extremely ambitious person.
