David Moyes - Taking a knife to a gunfight at West Ham, Part 2

He's got them playing very tight, like the old Everton.

But I mean from a realist point of view, they've played a very below par us, West Brom, Crystal Palace and Burnley in the last 4 games. Before that a below par Chelsea, declining Southampton and Brighton who they drew with.

They've had a very cushy run. But, you can only beat who's in front of you. Liverpool home and Villa Away next in the league, so we'll see how the Moysiah does then.

New contract for Moyes....

... sounds like he’s going to get a big pay raise!

Hes rediscovered his old school Everton self. A club fighting above thier weight making Europe on occasions. West Ham starting to understand that and are happy to be the old Everton of this day and age. The monopoly at the top isn't as as strong as it was back then so Moyes may have bigger ambitions. I know his everton would storm the top 4 at a canter this season and beyond.

I'd be delighted for him to beat the RS. They are in free fall and west ham above them atm. Best chance for him in a while.

He owes it to us like
I wouldn't say that copter. At least hes beating Liverpool on a few occasions and a boat load of draws with is under him. Since he left we haven't won one and many defeats. We owe it to ourselves to start showing up for derbies. Would love for him to do us a favour mind. Doesn't owe it.

He is doing a great job there. He is the man at the right time and they will be stable in the top half for the next few years.
Then the fans will get above themselves, demand more and chase him out.

It was the right time for him leave Everton but haven’t had a better manager since until now. I have no doubt he would have taken us up another notch if he was able to spend the money that his successors have had. If we were able to buy a sprinkle of real quality on the foundation he built we would have been a top four challenger
