He'll do well I think. There's some decent players in that squad. Will keep them up but not exactly get pulses racing like one of those asymmetrically superciliumed Maestros.

Even though the end to his time with us is soured somewhat, we've got much to thank him for IMO.

Every man and his dog knows that even if he keeps them up they will sack him off again.

It’s lose lose for Moyes, he keeps them up and loses his job again or he takes them down, loses his job and never gets another chance to manage a premier league side again.

Well, Pellegrini was on £7 million a year. I would be happy to lose lose on that basis.

Well yeah obviously the money will soften the blow for him.

If he’s happy to be the new Sam Allardayce then good for him.

I suppose when your stock has fallen so low beggars can’t be choosers. No club is ever going to invest in him for long term projects, this is the best he’s going to get.

I know today’s consensus is that he is not good enough and a backward step, and the bids and tapping up of players on his flying visit of Man U leaves a bad taste.. but I still have a soft spot for him, he turned us into street fighters when we needed it most and made a team that would fight.

Have him back.. not a chance. But he did a good job when funds were tight.
I really do like him and he built us a fantastic squad on peanuts, I would love to see a manager do that these days it doesn’t happen. I wasn’t keen on him coming back to us as were trying to push onto the next level and I don’t think he would of got the right reception from the fans if he had come back. Good luck mr moyes
