A few decent European aways. Win and your in the Europa league as well. With the calibre of some of the teams earlier on in the comp I think English clubs will see it as a very winnable trophy. Wouldn’t be surprised to see Villa get far and even win it next year. When we haven’t won a trophy in decades even this competition isn’t to be sniffed at.

Can't believe that final with rangers was 15 years ago, and so it was also that late night towards the end of the season we stuffed it vs Fiorentina at Goodison.

Could have won it that year had we not bottled the 1st leg of that tie. Didn’t we beat Zenit in the group stages who went on to win it. It was there for us. Moyes never grabbed the few opportunities we had.
