2024/25 David Moyes

Leicester have lost seven of their past eight games.

Can you translate this into English please, as none of the above makes any sense whatsoever.

they had all no problems of the pitch

dunno why your forgetting this mate

should of we got someone from abroad with a sexy name and took us down?

@JobForTheMoyes

get him!

Ange will soon be free, for those hoping to see kamikaze football.
Ultimately, I like him, he’s our manager and we will be safe. It’ll will boring from then on and we will turn on him soon enough while other clubs around us continue to stretch away - that’s my fear at least

“David Moyes has been excellent since he came in and made things, not easy as such, but a lot more clearer for us.

“It’s hard to put your finger on but there’s a lot more confidence now. Togetherness as well, just to know we’re not just going to be a team that just sits back; we’re a team that is going to get after games and try to win.

“You’ve seen in the last few games we’re starting to try and play a bit of football and get into teams. The manager wants us to play and to start putting other teams on the back foot and not just sit back.”

Jake O’Brien. That’s yet another sly dig at Dyche right there. There’s been at least four players that have publicly come out now in the last two weeks with digs at the former manager. He clearly wasn’t well liked by the majority. It’s also very rare not to see a single social media post from any player thanking a manager once he’s gone. Very telling.

Also, is there any wonder we looked toothless, didn’t score goals and barely got out of our own half during games when the players have been instructed to “sit back” and not get forward? It was nothing to do with a “poor squad” that some on here were saying, it was blatantly the tactics set my Sean Dyche.

for now we back him TFG back and we see what the future brings
Agreed. The appointment aligns with TFGs stated short term aims of stabilising the club and building gradually and sustainably. At the minute we’re not in a world where we can lash a fortune at a world class manager and world class players.

While I understand the desire for a fresh face and exciting football etc, if Moyes gets to the end of his contract or gets offered another then it’s because he’s been successful and progressed the team. I’ll take that compared to the last decade or so.

Another player saying it?

Funny that.

Who were the others? I haven’t been paying attention and missed the other comments so I am just wondering.

Half a game against Spurs we've done that.

Who were the others? I haven’t been paying attention and missed the other comments so I am just wondering.
Ndiaye:
“The strikers need to go more forward when we regain the ball. We’re closer to the goal and closer to each other, which is what we want.
I don’t know if it’s freedom as such, but the whole team is just clicking. I feel like that’s what’s most important. We haven’t been getting too many wins recently and this feels good.”

Lindstrom:
"I felt good, personally. Sometimes I was a bit more defensive, I'm more of an offensive player, but you do it for the team. It was nice to be there, to do the high pressing and it feels good. Now, we are recovering the ball higher (up the pitch) and we can go a bit quicker, which feels good.“

Well that's still half a game more then Dyche managed during the whole time he was here.
Not to pee on anyone's parade, but Leicester managed to beat Spurs. I have every confidence we will stay up under Moyes by I am under no illusion we are a transformed team. Not yet. I am trying to stay grounded and not get carried away.

Everton has totally depleted my optimism reserves. My hopium engine is running on fumes.
