2024/25 David Moyes

Something's pretty strange over these 5 matches Moyes has had in charge.

We've been - possession wise -

50% against Villa
35% against Spurs
31% against Brighton
47% against Leicester
58% against Bourenmouth

The outlier for me Leicester where we had a lot of possession of the ball but ran out winners.

The other 4 results, for me, are much more predictable of the way we've rolled for a while now: when we have a low % possession of the ball we play to our strengths. The Spurs and Brighton wins were typical of that. But when we get sucked into owning the ball a lot more we get caught out by counters more often than not.

I mean, that's just level one understanding of this team that I think most would accept. WTF was Moyes trying to aci=hieve by possessing the ball so much when we dont have the players to play that game?

I do hope this feller is looking at this and learning that lesson. Itkks a pretty basic one would expect him to know.
