We had a go. We tried to score when we could, which is hard for us, but they were allowed to try. Some of the criticism in the match thread was astonishing. Moyes’ general quiet authority and calmness has not made the players any better, but they’ve at least been released to be the best they can be. Incredible change in intent on the pitch, with Moyes reluctant to claim he has even changed much.

Fitting he was at the helm tonight. Chuffed for him.

Well done by Moyes. Came out firing the 2 half. Didn’t love the subs but it’s not like there lots of options

Thought his tactics were spot on tonight!

Didn’t over commit and let them play a million passes around their backline, then when we attacked we attacked in numbers.

Thought that was a really poor sub when he took Lindstrom off and shoved Alcaraz to the right. Didn't work at all as Lindstrom defensively had Robertson pinned for the most part.

We are now at the beyond wafer thin stage.

He'll be buzzing with that point though.

Should have replaced Doucoure for Alcaraz, and Garner for Tim before we conceded.

After conceding, we lost all shape with the subs he made.

I dunno. I see quite a lot of improvement in the players. They are also showing they are pretty competent with the football as well.
