2024/25 David Moyes

Just like I did with Dyche at first. He gets a pass this season since he was brought in to keep us up. No excuses from next season though. I'm not asking for much but I want a much more positive mindset then what we got today.
Spot on this. If you listen to him carefully it’s quite obvious that he believes that this squad is very basic and very poor. Depending on how summer goes then it’s an opportunity to bring his own players in, and improve the team. If he brings in 6/7 quality players, spends some money and we are still scrapping around at the bottom then we can definitely start to ask questions. As of right now he’s taken a team that was one point off the drop to safety in very quick time. That’ll do me for now.

We had the opportunity for a boost after the narrow derby loss. Moyes either handed them a clueless battle plan or he just couldn't motivate them to carry out his game plan. Either way it's down to him.

This is fantasy.

There's no way 6/7 quality players are getting signed by this club in the summer. We'll be lucky to see two better players than we have - which will be paid for from a sale.

Hopefully, Moyes has already been told he's getting paid off in the summer. This may explain why he's trolling the fan base by sticking with Doucoure and Harrison, and why he's 'allegedly' not visited Bramley Moore.
Moyes has already said himself he’s not visiting Bramley Moore until we’re mathematically safe.

Good lord. A draw against Arsenal and it’s the end of the world. You need a reality check in terms of where we are as a club and give the man some credit for getting results with this squad.
Genuine question, well 2 actually. Have you ever played football? And how old are you?

Is it me or are some posters being stupid?

No one is complaining about the results on the whole since Moyes came back.

Why WE and anyone with some foresight are annoyed, frustrated, angry, disappointed etc...

...is because Harrison, Doucoure, Broja to name just 3 players are getting starts / time ahead of players who can add value to the team today and get valuable time to get used to the league for next season.

Alcaraz in the 10 today would have been ideal to see how he combines with Ndiaye. Instead Doucoure in the 10 and Alcaraz on for Ndiaye.

For me, this is pathetic.

Broja came on for Beto. A Chelsea injury prone donkey. Why not Chermiti who is actually an Everton player?

For me, this is also pathetic.

Third is Harrison. No need to expand.

Pathetic.

Good, if not great results....extremely disappointing team selections

He’s a troll who does not support Everton. Comes on here to wind people up. Not to be taken seriously in any way.

He's off his head in his post match press conference praising Doucoure and saying he proved it was the right decision to select him and was non committal over Alcaraz.

Mental how managers have massive blind spots over useless footballers.
Yeah I'm not jumping on the Davey hate train but fully triggered by the repeated praise for that Doucoure performance.

Or it is mental that people who watch their team play for 90 minutes a week on the telly think that they have better judgement than a career football manager
