Anybody know why moyes face look battered last week?
Libera te tutemet ex inferisThought it was sam neill out of EH.
I thought it was Vince McMahon.Thought it was sam neill out of EH.
Think the club is a different club, with new owners. Moyes has come in to o a club looking upwards again.
That was not where we were with final years of moshiri.
The mentality shift is across the whole club.
And the majority of the fan base
We already had one! I’ve got it somewhere in one of my drawers in my office. Must find it and put it one display again! (Might leave the James McFadden one I brought with it still tucked away though!)Well, United had one:

West Ham had one:

I guess it's only fair we get one out before the end of the season...

It is weird like, especially since Irvine was sporting a plaster on his face exactly where Moyes has a graze.Anybody know why moyes face look battered last week?

Potentially. Also felt things need freshening up in the squad and there was no real investment available. Is that why Dyche quit, because he couldn’t handle the thought of expectations being higher than 17th?
Carlo with napoli and us?Any other examples of a manager falling off mid career and then completely recovering their reputation?
It's taken some hours, and an accidental thought, but this contrast between Dyche and martinez needed a bit more consideration. A dichotomy exists between the two, and who can't resist a pun so obvious. A Dychecotomy of course. Colour me smug for the rest of the day.Dyche was content with drawing 37 games 0-0 and beating the relegation cert 1-0 at home thus delivering 40 points. This isn't about ambition and all that other cobblers, nor entertainment, "it's a results business, and I get safety" type of attitude. The players have taken to Moyes' way of doing things, they want to try and play a bit instead of being instilled with fear. The support sensed it and was grumbling from minute one, football filled with fear is a negative experience, ironically it matches martinez's play at all costs mantra, there has to be that balance, Dyche wanted to defend the point and stifle games, martinez wanted to forget about defence and try to outscore everyone. There is a pragmatic solution, and we've got a manager delivering that currently.
For the record, Moyes mk I there was moaning about subs to early or to late (and that's started back up instantly)(because fans are always the same!) he gave us stability and slowly built a side that could do a bit and win games. Give him the players and we'll be a side closer to the top than we are the bottom.
All football fans share a lack of patience. We've had what, 13 or 14 games, and we've actually had it pretty bloody good. There will be spells much worse than this yet. Pre forest how many on here were talking managerial change in the summer.

For all his faults did the job he came to do. We have all moved on
