2024/25 David Moyes

I don't know if I wish a low budget on him, but I don't really trust him with money. Especially if he prefers players like Doucore behind the striker. I don't think there are value picks like Cahill and Fellaini in that role anymore.
On what basis though? Did you pick out Cahill and fellaini as being as good as they were for us there before we signed them? I’m pretty sure the answer is no, so how can you really have any idea whether there are equivalents now?

As an aside, fellaini did cost ‘money’. He’d be the equivalent of us signing someone for about £40 million now.

I trust Moyesy. If he think Tom Fellows can improve us then let him get on with his job.

Of course I want our team is filled with quality international players (like Villa) but is this the reality for now, I don’t know.

He's a dullard that'll encase this club in his mediocrity all too soon.

I think you and others need to remind themselves of what Moyes did here first time around in terms of how he arrogantly thought every part of the club should bend the knee to his 'greatness'...we saw his greatness when he left: wrecking clubs and relegating them...and his traitorous ways when at United.

Maybe you should pack the short term memories in?

….it’ll have to be a better level of mediocracy we’ve had in recent years.

I think you just need a blend - a couple of bigger money signings with some lower cost punts on promising players and potential diamonds in the rough.

That way you don’t put too many eggs in one basket while also adding some good quality to what could be a solid foundation.

i love you more bri x

I’d love you too if you spelt my name right

which both was true

but you and your weird moyes hatred

is absurd

The only thing weird about all this is a manager who took the piss at United and disrespected us in the media and tried to get our players for ten 'kin bob has been welcomed back by the majority no questions asked. THAT is weird.

He might be here now and the next few years...and he might keep us safe...but it's a matter of never forgotten and never forgiven for those of us who dont take too kindly to being had off by that nepotistic turd.
