2024/25 David Moyes

Just watched that press conference, I can see a back 5 incoming with Keane, Seamus added in.

Whilst I respect Moyes for the recovery this season, if he isn’t even considering bringing on youth players but ‘trying out’ older players who should be finished playing for us, it’s going to be a difficult season next season.
It's a tough call for him. I don't think we are in the position to blood any youngsters.

We are in a mini league of 5 which we are top of at the moment. With each spot worth around £2M now is not the time to be experimenting.

So... No. 1 then, mate? 🤔

I would be grateful for the good fellows of GoT to spare 1 minute of your time to assist with my studies.

Which Lion would you most scared of?

Think it was £2.8m per place last season and £3.1m per place the year before.

Means there’s around 11-12m to play for just by being the top of that group of 5.

That virtually pays for Alcaraz if we took up that option.

As much as I’d love to see us blood some younger players, we need a lot of players and any cash we can get will benefit us for that. The benefits of the new stadium won’t be seen for another year yet which some seem to forget and we have still been making psr losses.

How will people feel if Vitor does a Nuno and gets Wolves into the Champions league next year? He’s done a tremendous job so far. It would be a sore one given how many times we nearly appointed him.

(Not saying it’s likely btw, he’ll probably fall out with his players next season, he’s a bit erratic for me)
