….andLove everyone who only posts after losses piling in here to call all the players a bunch of wasters (they have a point here to be fair) and loudly declare that Moyes is Not The Man To Take Us Forward
There’s a whole wide world of football managers out there for ambitious, well-heeled owners. David Moyes did a fine job and his late-career cameo is a fine coda to his Everton legacy. But the job has changed. Time now for Friedkin Plan A.
It is. He has his ceiling. Smash it.No. He's earned his right to lead us out. I just hope this recent patch isn't the true Moyes coming out
@GrandOldTeam, give him a mug, or at least some biscuits for the post of the day. He's been reading your posts
Both took us over with half a season to go. There is no world in which that isn’t enough time for any manager to get a team like Everton clear before the last round of fixtures.Alright let’s do it again so. Dyche took us over with the lowest pts total in our history at that stage of the season. Kept us well up the next season. Lampard didn’t do that. Not sure why both are lumped in together
For sure. 20 mins after DCL bagged the third against palace Lampard should’ve been shown the door. Same with Martinez losing all 4 Xmas games in 14/15z if only the club had some foresight at times. Both took us over with half a season to go. There is no world in which that isn’t enough time for any manager to get a team like Everton clear before the last round of fixtures.
Neither was an achievement and both should have resulted in a handshake and a goodbye. Future seasons proved that.
Spot on.There’s a whole wide world of football managers out there for ambitious, well-heeled owners. David Moyes did a fine job and his late-career cameo is a fine coda to his Everton legacy. But the job has changed. Time now for Friedkin Plan A.
na he’s manager nxt seasonSpot on.
I actually dont think hels up for this job.
He's played his cards very close to his chest since coming back.
IMO there is no 2 year contract in place. I doubt TFG would have boxed themselves in like that.
I still think it's up in the air who's in that Everton dugout next season.![]()
na he’s manager nxt season
and he will be backed in summer
It is. He has his ceiling. Smash it.
Let's see.
