I agree, I like Carsley but it would have been a massive gamble bringing him here.

People tout Carsley, but Baines is currently the one learning at the feet of the master.

…and I’m not sure he’d want the job, I don’t think he was ever comfortable in charge at England. There’s also his Downs Syndrome youngster, he’s said he wouldn’t want to leave their Midlands base.

Prob were already safe with 10 games to go, realistically mate. Considering our start and points haul under Dyche it has been a welcome turn around.

If Ipswich had a deeper bench I think they could’ve gotten out of the bottom. They’re hard nosed and scrappy. They go up on teams like they did today with Chelsea. They just can’t sustain it.

Doesnt matter if you was for or against Moyes coming back (I was completely against it and massively underwhelmed) but whatever camp you was we can all agree he has done a fantastic job and gave us our club back.

I thought he still may go in the summer but not now he wont, think we would be foolish to even consider it.
We might think differently in 12-18 months but right now he is the man to lead us into the new stadium.

don’t think hes a youngster anymore but i imagine he needs full time care which is why carsley doesnt want to leave the midlands

he commuted every day to bellefield/finch farm when he played here
