Dean Windass - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
What do we think?
Yes I know he is 40, but he has experience and can really do a job IMO.
Don't think we have been linked with him, nor is there is any rumours. just think we should sign him.
Too old, simples.
No he isn't. If your good enough, your old enough.
That is a true saying Nick but Windass is surely not a player Moyes will be looking at. Signing a player or his age would suggest the club are not thinking of the club's future. If you would like to see him at Everton then fine, i respect your opinion but in my opinion, we should be looking for experience mixed with youth but i place Windass a little over the hill for a club looking to progress further.
But he scores goals mate. He scores more than Anichebe does.
Stanley Matthews played till he was 50. Your never too old.
Again mate, you have excellent points but i would not be excited at the prospect of signing Windass. Wagner Love, yes but not Windass. Still, it is all a matter of preference and opinion and yours i do respect, if not agree.
******* Wagner Love. We don't need blue dreadlocks and more Brazilian let down. We need Yorkshire steel. Someone who isn't afraid to go in where it hurts and spill blood for the cause.
If you think that signing Wagner Love is going to put this club in the CL than dream on, it ain't going to happen.
Back to basics, less of the ****ting around and more of the ****ting the ball in the net.
But signing Dean Windass will get us into the CL, now that is not only a dream, it is a distant pipe dream.
What have you got against Windass?
Nothing lad, i just feel we should be looking to add greater quality. We are Everton Football Club and are a club on the up. If Windass is that good, why have no big clubs come in for him? He is simply too old and wont improve on what we already have.
Well he's better than Anichebe, and he will cost less in wages, so to sign him for **** all, and sell Anichebe for 10 -15million, were going to be quids in, and that is improving the squad. Age has nothing to do with it, it's all about the ability to put the ball in the onion bag.
