Maybe he's lost his way, been a bit of a bellend and has fallen out with Mourinho and it's hard to turn it around especially when your manager is Mourinho. Maybe as they say, a change of scenery and all that...

As I said, maybe all he needs is a change of scenery.

I'm not saying we should buy him or anything but if the manager who ever thinks there is something to work with then there are probably worse options out there. We have had loads of players who looked like their career was faltering only for them to sign and come good again.

Of course we have also had loads of players who's career trajectory has continued to go down after we sign them. You just never know.

Alli is a guy who ideally fits into a system of quick interpassing and snappy through balls - not our system at all or at least not at the moment.

He'd be better going to Palace who, on yesterday's showing, would suit his style. But I think he's lost it a bit to be honest.
