If as reported it’s a free transfer and 10 m if he get 20 appearances then it’s a good deal.
There was a cracking player there hopefully he comes to the fire again.
As to how we set up I’d say the plan is for Allan sitting deep with VDB and Ali further forward with Gray Bambi and Ricarlison as a front 3.
Only problem is our defence is crap and will need overhauling to play that formation.
Maybe Allan and Doucoure in midfield with DVB or Ali playing just behind a front 3.
At least Gray and Richarlison would give us a 5 man midfield when we are defending
 

£40m for Dele Alli?!? Dele fother mucking Alli?!?

40 million of the queens's english pounds?!?

Jesus wept!! Granted it's currently just rumour but nothing about this clownshow of a club would surprise me. £40m for a player who has been utter shyte and utterly uninterested for about 3 years.

If this joker is worth £40m I'm worth at least £35m and I haven't kicked a ball before FaceTube was a thing.

The defence will not be under constant threat as at present ,
so it might work out better for them.

They will also be signing some mega sponsorship deals, like we did................
