Him and DCL look like good mates so far. Always felt Richy and DCL had little connection on and certainly off the pitch. Wonder if that will bode well if they do end up playing off each other.

It’s absolutely true. Richy and DCL did not function as a partnership. Dele may be a bit less selfish than Richy!

Doesn’t have a clue how to do anything other than pop up in decent positions in and around the penalty area. That’s all he has to his game.

To be fair he is at least running a lot...but every time he gets the ball he has no idea what to do with it...and this is not only his fault but the entire team not giving him enough options...I am wondering what lampard is doing in training because I am not seeing it right now with the exception of the quick transition going forward when conterattacking.

You can't build a possession based side with players/defenders who can't retain the ball and no number six who can receive under pressure.

Had his chance last season, couldn’t get in the team, called out by Lampard for not trying hard enough in training - should have been told to go. Now we’ll end up paying a fee for him.
