He may get his head together and actually get back to his best? Far stranger things have happened.....
Maybe, but he has 1 more year on his contract. We essentially have a 1 year loan for him. Pay nothing for 6 games, 7th game is £10m. 27th game if rumours true, another £10m.

So with wages, anything between £5m to £25m for the season. Plus any win/goal/assist bonus.
Nah.

I really don't know with this lad, look clearly he has personal problems and I think it's clear to everyone, in and out of football. I can genuinely see this being one the rare cases in football where a comprimise is reached, I don't think Levy and those involved with Spurs would want to stand in this lad's way of a career because that's what's kinda currently happening. Maybe something like a one off payment of £5m-10m or something, cancel the appearence related add ons and it'll allow the lad to kinda come in here, come off the bench and settle in properly.

Currently we can't afford to play him or give him any minutes even for fitness when there are competitive games. The only other option we have really is send him out on loan again with the purpose of allowing his contract to expire and committing to re-signing him after it's offical, thus nullifying Spurs' clauses, as he would've technically left and come back. He's still young enough with the right manager and motivation to be a player in the Premier League, like I said I think Spurs will want to do right by him and would probably come to the table to enable him to continue his career basically.

Have a gentleman's agreement or whatever saying we'll pay £10m for him and extend his contract 2-3 years so they know we won't just get rid of him immediately. It's a rare case but I think it's one of those times where the human element will be acknowledged.

Levy cares about one thing, and that's winning the money game, Other then the initial deal, Dele wouldn't even be a second thought in this blokes head.

He's a tit - I wouldn't worry about him
