Has any player ever after fading in the premier league ever salvaged their career by going to the Turkish league? seems to be the death blow for football relevancy which is insane since he is 26 and only like 4 or 5 years ago he was on the list of the top 50 under 23 footballers in the world, i think he was rated number 1 at some point , quite the tumble very tragic

Genuinely feel for the guy and wish that The People's Club could drag him out of this rut he's in.

Clearly has an ongoing identity crisis, triggered by the name change and subsequent media outlets seeking his birth parents opinions and the cash grab associated with it.

It won't matter what badge he wears on the front until he's got his head around the name on the back.

Needs sorting out if he goes great if he doesn’t then he needs to be in the team and playing. I think the structure of the deal for him to be here has massively hampered his playing time and then a player who has lost confidence and probably interest comes here and doesn’t get picked well how much more of a blow would that be seeing the players here getting ahead of you. Again poor management from the club all round I still don’t believe he has lost his ability as a top player the lads been ruined by managers.

Apart from Mbappe, that's a who's who of players that haven't kicked on. Mbappe apart, I don't think a single one of those players are better now than they were when they were young, and most have probably regressed.

All that says to me is that some players peak early in life and others much later.
