I get this is the right thing to do and it's good we have escaped with a fairly minimal loss all told, and it certainly helps the budget this year. But I do feel a bit sad about it really, he doesn't come across as a bad lad really, more like a silly kid. Whatever his issues I hope we at least tried to help, as Spurs should've done too. For all the money he has, you still worry about a young lad seemingly spiralling the way he is.
Paying the first instalment to spurs means we only sell richy for 50m. Factor in sell on clause to watford, we are barely profiting from the sale.
The whole Dele/Richy deals with Spurs are the stuff of fiction.
Getting Dele off to Turkey is a proper head scratcher.
