….i get all the mental illness stuff and i wish him well on that front, but it was a ridiculous piece of business buying somebody with his problems. The situation now is a stalemate.

No excuse for the mispelling, apologies but I always struggle with him. Pedantic Civil Servant as well.

But we're attacking the wrong person, we should be blaming the people who signed him not the player. Lampard, Thelwell, Kenwright, I dunno who got involved, but it shouldn't have happened, that's not Dele's fault though.

I dunno, there's a few stories floating about, Harry came out with something like that on Talksport but Lampard and Dele both pretty much signed on the same day, perhaps something was in the works in the background all transfer window and Lampard got it over the line, either way it's ended up being a disaster from a footballing perspective.

…the £10millionitis is the clubs reluctance to play him. The players problems were there when we bought him, he was hugely high risk. The only blame here is Everton taking him.

…yep, I think that’s likely, it’s certainly been part of his problems whilst with us. Football hasn’t mattered. The bottom line is we are to blame for signing him.

I feel sorry for anybody who has mental issues, but he will never play for us, so send him on his way. We can still feel sorry for the lad but want him off our books. The two things aren't mentally exclusive.
