Telegraph saying Townsend is going to be a 1 year deal with option for a second, Gray a 2 year deal with option for a 3rd

I’ll say this, the Townsend/Gray deals, assuming the wages are reasonable and the terms are as reported, at 1.5m total early on with time to bed in represent a significant improvement over signing Iwobi on deadline day for 28m and 4 years.

Then what is your point? I asked if Spurs would be interested in Townsend this summer and you said maybe because they loaned Bale back last year. If one thing is unrelated to the other why bring it up? Spurs are clearly not interested because if they were he would go there and save himself the bother of moving house.

Gray at one time was rated, what happened with him.

I mean the positive is that they're better than our current wingers but then it is kind of like saying it's better to trample in some dog poo as opposed to falling into a manure pile.

Its just acceptance mate. Every year for the past 5 seasons we have overpaid for dross at least now the dross is fairly priced. We are a poorly run midtable club with a lazy fraud in charge of signings. We aren't signing worldies or upcoming wonderkids. This is our level

Gray & Perez in one window, you‘ll be wanting to chuck yourself into the River Mersey if that happens.

Yeah 10 years ago because he came through their academy. Like saying we might be interested in taking Adam Forshaw back.
