Poor again, he plays with his head down. I hope Mykolenko gave him a right rollicking after the match, the number of times he overlapped at pace when Gray either, didn't see him, or chose not to pass to him, was shocking.

It became apparent that all he wanted to do (could do) was come inside and dribble across the penalty area, which I suspect Leicester noticed too.Poor again, he plays with his head down. he was desperate to score yesterday, as you say, he came inside every time onto his right foot to try and get a shot off, quite a few times Myolenko went on the overlap and wasn't played in, that in itself would have helped gray as defenders wouldn't know which option he was going to choose that may have given him half a yard to compose his shot betterHe's becoming too predictable in his play.
Cuts inside all too often. He needs to focus on beating a man and whipping it in.
This is not a solution.
And sometimes link up play is about not passing the ball when they take the man away from you. Leicester covered the overlap well basically every time. Sure he can pass it anyway but who do you want beating a man one on one, Gray or Mykolenko?
Honestly this is getting a bit weird. He missed about a week of training with a minor knock 2 months ago, he's not feeling his way back in after doing his ACL. He doesn't need to be written off but he's been poor for a good while now and seeing as his entire career has been pretty underwhelming it's not a huge surprise that people are starting to question if he's actually got what it takes in the long run.Another one coming back from injury getting written off
Agree, most of his goals came in the first few games of the season and then he did his usual drift off form after that. That is Demarai Grays career summed up. It's plainly obvious to see that the lad has ability on the ball but he isn't really much of a team player, and he struggles to put any kind of form runs together. He strikes me as one of those kids who fell into football because they happened to be good at it rather than because they actually wanted to be a footballer.Honestly this is getting a bit weird. That's true although the same was said of Robben and he was pretty good. I think defenders are onto him though like you said. He's becoming too predictable in his play.
