June. So, is it better to sell in June or July
Completely agree, and I actually like Gray a lot and believe he is one of the few players we have that can actually change a match given his pace. However, he is almost the definitional player to sell at the prices being quoted as he is at the dead center of a Venn diagram of almost every warring faction on this forum. We must buy better players than we already have. We can’t buy anyone without first selling. If we can sell a bit part squad player for 20x his actual value then that’s obviously better than having to sell one of the few actually important players we have.
Sell him, maupay and iwobi and that’s 4 goals we’ve lost from some of our front 3.They're still goals right? He was still our 3rd highest goalscorer last season. That's the main point. Not the player.
We get left with McNiel and Doucs which was a total of 10 goals. Which means it adds more pressure to the 2-3 attacking players we then desperately need.
I don’t think the Twitter account reporting that amount is legit£35m for Demarai Gray has had me genuinely laughing out loud. If we get north of £15m we’ll have done brilliantly, and anything over £20m we’ve absolutely pulled their pants down.
I know, it’s fantastic.I don’t think the Twitter account reporting that amount is legit
Is that because of ffp or your wish for Kevin to get down the cash point sooner ?June.
I don’t think it makes a massive difference this summer. We made 65 million in January from Kean and Gordon. It’s not like last summer where we had to sell Richarlison to try to balance the accounts by June 30th.So, is it better to sell in June or July
As long as we don't replace him with someone slow who doesn't score...
LOLWe will get money for him which means we could buy a player with pace who’s also good mate.
What if we replace him with someone who is slow but does score?
