Why's he getting sold now?

Be ridiculous to do it if McNeill is out for a while. Also apparently selling to Fulham...I mean you stall the deal until after the first game surely unless there's some FFP deadline approaching.

Hes not trained yet this pre season due to the Jamaica games. Would he even be fit to play next week if we sold him. Sell him immediatly if we have someone lined up

Gray is getting sold because we'll be able to get 10+ mil for a player who doesn't suit the manager's way of playing and who best will give us a goal or an assist every 10 games.

I have to assume we have someone coming in if he goes. Whether it be Gnoto, Junior or whoever.

Will any of those deals be done before Fulham though?

If not (and McNeill and DCL are ruled out) the attacking options for that match are going to be Danjuma, Iwobi, Maupay and Dobbin.

Criminal if the club just chucks the opening games again like last season. Starting with a home defeat to an understrength Fulham isn't going to be great optics at all, might aswell have a massive protest early this season and that would be sort of result that would spark it.

Didn't he score a great goal to get a point against city too last season?? Or have I got mixed up?
Yes and forest twice to help secure a point in each of them games for us. For what we paid and what we’ve got out of him he’s been a good signing plus sell for a profit depending on what that is I’m not sure whether I’d rather keep him or not, but I’d imagine he doesn’t want to be a squad player here.

I’m not really defending the club and it will probably be ugly in the end but I’d imagine someone is coming in the other way if Gray is going. This is all speculation at the moment until it actually happens.
