It’s not free if paying double wages and after the loan we have no asset.

And I suppose the fee will be about 25 million for a permanent transfer based on the 20 million he nearly went to Leicester for.

Let’s face it they’re both pretty 💩 and should be squad players at best.

I would have to assess the merits of purchasing him in about 9months mate.

But for now hes costing us a nominal fee.

I dont think Gray is crap, for a bit he was 1 of our most productive players, but we can certainly do better. As for Harrison, again, I will get back to you in about 9months on whether it was worth the "trade".
 

Hmm, we’re not treating him very well by the looks of things. Not letting him train, giving his number away, that’s the sort of treatment you give a player refusing a move but it sounds like Gray is happy to go and the hold up is us agreeing a fee with a club.

And while we’ve dithered Fulham have gone elsewhere so looks like we’ve lost a customer and he’s lost a move he was keen on. Not great.
 
Hope he has a move lined up just waiting to be signed off otherwise its a bit of a crappy trick taking his number off him and if he stays its not going to help relations.
 
There must be something going on that we aren't seeing. If he hasn't turned up to training since the summer break I can't imagine the relationship is salvageable. I'm sure one of the journos will ask about it before the villa game

are we not letting him train ? i thought he had requested not to train. probably the answer is in the middle and he is training away from the group but maybe still at FF

indeed i hope this is the case and money is coming in soon.
what is strange though we would only let him go if a replacement is found, but the replacement is injured lol
but i would let him go regardless. If he is not training with the team he can not start games so what is the point.
also with Mykolenko back Young can play as a winger.
and Danjuma as another option to come in

The impression I got is we weren’t letting him train, although nothing is clear with Everton. Maybe we thought something was closer than it’s turned out to be.
