Obviously he and his agent been trying to move to KSA since early summer, the club knew that and were OK with it as long as we get paid whatever valuation the club had in mind, the deal with one of the clubs was almost done 2 weeks ago and was widely reported on Saudi media and even by the local media, that deal didn't happen because of the Saudi club (boar change or whatever) so his agent found another club and on Sunday morning it was reported by the Saudi media, this deal is obviously a very good deal for the player but not so good for us (was being reported as being a 4M deal), so the club (rightly so) refused to sell, now his agent/maybe even our DOF have to come up with a better deal for the club and that's what is being done right now i guess, we are negotiating a better deal for ourselves.

Once we are happy with the offer, the deal will happen, his post on social media was a very dirty move by him/his agent, basically telling the club there is no way back for him, accept the offer as it is. Good thing that the club didn't panic and accept the offer, Dyche in his interview is basically saying to him/his agent and the Saudi club, pay what we want or no deal.

I am almost sure that the deal will happen, not for the reported 4M, it will be more, latest stories are mentioning 7M, lets wait and see the final fee

Very strange, isn’t it?

Anyone would think the interview with Dyche was cynically timed to get the majority of fans spitting their rage at Gray and take anger away from the club.
Complete with the social media tag "response to Gray" , I'm not saying Gray is an angel in this but the quickness that people took dyches statement as fact is strange.

People are entitled to think what they want to - but if they are pleased tonight to see Gray go, then they should at least be aware that’s exactly how the club wants them to feel.

My read is he needed to be sold as we make a good profit on him to help FPP . He felt the vibes and Dyche never played him to back this up …. not that great anyway .. move on. Hope we get enough points this side of xmas and have another window then to improve the squad … lots of ifs and maybes but keep the faith.

We’re taking in over 40million this window and large chunks on fees the last couple of windows.

That dastardly Gordon, he left us in the lurch, funny how we haven’t spent that money from Newcastle though? Doesn’t that say that we had to sell him and if so how could he have been to blame.

so we sold him then as we owe the money out?

Did we ever see the fans chasing him down the road that time? Maybe it was Bill!!! No, surely not???

We have replaced hm with Harrison.

And Danjuma I suppose.

Not that there was much to replace.
Before today, I think it’s 13 players left this summer with 9 coming in (counting loans and returning loans), Harrison and Danjuma are counted in that.

With Gray, it becomes 14
