Don't blame him for wanting the move.

He isn't fancied by Dyche.
He'll get a massive pay increase.

I blame Everton for not moving him on earlier in the window, or sticking to their guns (he can't leave until a replacement comes in) and saying no we'd rather have the body until Jan than a poxy few million.

He's not the best player but he's had 30+ league appearences 2 seasons on the spin.

No player is bigger than the club. Sean Dyche needs players with skill, and guts.

Demari Gray scored some great goals for Everton butforr me, he was not consistent enough and did not provide enough end product.

And it's a similar scene, to when he left Leicester for Germany in 2021.

There are plenty of players who had the same schedule as Gray that have been playing.

Dyche didn’t want him, that’s obvious. Gray thought he had a move lined up and it fell through. His agent lined up another on the cheap and Everton told them to pound sand. Then he made his instagram post, the club ponied up and now he’s gone.

But there’s no nuance to Dyches feelings on Gray. When he played him it was only out of position. When he came back that was still clear and Gray poured his way to Saudi.

None of them decided they were not training when they came back, that was the start of the argument between them, what was Dyche supposed to do? Let him carry on getting his wages but not training, Dyche would have looked like a complete soft touch to the rest of the squad, no he told him the score and put him in his place.
