His style of play reminds me of Wanchope. For some reason I can't see him doing well at us though, and not through his own fault, just not the kind of forward Moyes would usually go with.
 
Why am I already thinking about how many games he'll miss through injury and the Africa Cup of Nations? We haven't even put in a bid yet!!

Still, I want him.
 

If he's cheap, then er, why not?

I've been barking up this tree for a while; he's got decent pace, great strength and seemingly a real eye for goal. 7 in 12 for the team that finished at the bottom of the table, whilst the on loan prem veteran Robbie Keane only managed 2 in 9, well it's impressive. As is his record in the Bundesliga.

Everton are in advanced talks with West Ham´s Senegal international striker Demba Ba.

The 26-year-old joined West Ham United on a 3-year-deal from German Bundesliga side TSG 1899 Hoffenheim on 28 January 2011, but despite the powerful strikers impressive haul of 7 goals in 10 Premier League starts, West Ham were unable to avoid relegation from the Premier League and the striker is keen for a move.

Anyway, I really hope this one happens. Every time I've seen him he's looked ace, and from what I hear he might not break the bank -- there's rumours he'd be on a free, bar a signing-on fee, and his wages are meant to be feasible.
 

So who is doing the talks with Ba if Moyes is going on a 2 week Holiday today or is moyes taking Ba with him :P
 
Veeeeery interesting, we desperately need another striker like and if we can get him for 'free' all the better.

Maybe the funds that we generate from sales can go mostly on a top class winger then!

I'm sure if Moyes says he wants him, then there's other people who can begin talks. Plus phones and stuff.

ESPN are saying Sam Allardyce has admitted striker Demba Ba is likely to leave the club. Nothing about any clubs though.
 
I've not seen much of him at all....

IS he actually 'any good'.....yes i know he has a good strike rate BUT can he lead the line on his own?

Is he fast?

Coud he be our main forward for a season? Would he single handedly get us points which we wouldnt otherise have got?
