After receiving a 12 point deduction Derby enter administration. Ok they broke the rules so were punished. But the 'big 6' threatened to destroy English football and get away without a blink of an eye. Ok a small smack on the wrist fine that doesn't even equate to one players wages. Absolute double standards and really shows the state of the game at the moment and the overwhelming bias towards a select group of teams.

I remember going to a game there and dropping my dear ol' dad virtually off at the gate and having to park up in the far distance. Ran to the ground in what was (in retrospect) Olympic form. Got in 15 minutes late to get my dad moaning at me for being a lazy arse and then sitting there a big red hot sweaty mess whilst a steward constantly shouted at me up to half time to get the guy next to me to stop smoking in case it caused a fire. It was a concrete bleeding stadium.

And we lost with an illegible player scoring for them. Argentinian player I think.

And this is essentially my rationale for saying, let the buggers implode.

I hope they can avoid relegation, I know people don't like Rooney but at least he has had the guts to drop a level and stick with them when the going gets tough.
Also for a team that he has had to scrape together the play some nice football and have been unlucky not to get a few more points.
