Agree...I commented yesterday on how fulminating the posts herein seemed regarding the red half of Merseyside. Back in the 80's when I was in the 'pool any invective between blue and red was usually heavily laced/diluted with humour and an 'agree to disagree' acceptance. Times have obviously (and sadly) changed. Me and my (blue and red) good mates all used to go to Derby's together and stand beside each other and have a great time.
From the far distance of NZ it is impossible for me to put my finger on what has caused the bitter schism over the last generation. Definitely some sociological imprint manifesting.
I think there a concurrent thread running on this very subject...will go and have a read.
 

Just to clear one thing up.

I see on the front page the match is down as a 3 o'clock kick off on the Saturday. I've since heard it's an early kick of (12.45?), but is it still Saturday?
 
I thought the negativity left when Moyes went. Come on fellas lets be positive. The previous two performances were poor granted but better getting them out the way and working on things now then have it happen in the derby.

We have more players who can hurt.

Lets have 'em!

He's not really. He's a decent player. He wasn't for a while but he is now.

That said there's only one of those who's got the potential to play for any club in the world.

Clue - It's not the one who runs like he's holding a richard in.

If you were picking Merseyside 11, you wouldn't put him there. He is only playing decent now as he couldn't get any worse. They all said the same about downing mate. I still don't actually know what Henderson does, what position is he? I've seen him play Attacking mid and right wing back :/ same with downing.

I don't think Brendan knows his best position to be honest.

So did that argentinian fella we had. He was awful.
If you would even consider Henderson in the starting 11, you have issues in my opinion.

Toure has played great and you lot. Skrtel isn't that good to be honest and I like Agger as he is a ball playing defender. I didn't rate Sakho that much at PSG and he does look dodgy mate so far.
