But he's at a club consistently challenging in LaLiga and the Champions League - a club that he loves - and he's indicated that his ideal destination would be Italy.

And there's a certain club in Milan who are extremely keen on him. And could afford to pay him more.

I'm all for aiming high, but there's no chance we're going to be in a position - even at the end of the season - to attract Simeone.
