Yeah May be down to his agent that mate as he thought he'd signed for Chelsea, doubt simeone is as gullible,

You are normally spot on with most things Steve, and by no means a pessimist. I share your view which is this is a diversion tactic (if it is it could be big mistake from Moshiri by the way).

However for a moment think it's not. Consider Usmanov will be formally on board by the summer (which is far from unrealistic) possibly alongside heavy Chinese investment. Could you see a possibility in that world, a huge wage for Simeone and an enormous transfer pot that he would come? Is there any offer we could make him that might tempt him?

To be fair to Silva, his first-half season in English football, and he managed to dig a poor Hull side almost to safety. Hull were bottom of the league when he arrived, he had a W6 L9 D3 league record with them - 21 points from 18 games - not a bad points tally; given what he had to work with and the lack of time to do it in.
yeah but its hardly salivating. Just seems a bit ott from me. If his name was big fat sam people wouldnt get so excited.

No, it's not the most inspiring, but you know how the media bandwagon goes these days as soon as a new manager strings together a couple of wins. He did a reasonably good job at Hull, given the circumstances.

My sources tell me we have certainly turned his head with our approach.

Been told that in 2 or 3 days he might stop laughing long enough to giggle a no.
