Getting back on topic....

Didn't Vinny Jones write a book about his time in football....where he highlighted some of his more underhanded 'techniques' I seem to recall him saying after he had chopped someone down, he would help them back up........ by grabbing their under-arm hair through their shirt and hoisting them up.

The name will definately not ring a bell to you, but John Linford without a doubt. English striker, who played for Fortuna at three different periods from the mid 80's to the mid 90's. He was a complete nut case, although he never has been sent of once during his whole career. Probably because the refs were to afraid of him.

Not a match, without him kicking the [Poor language removed] out of, elbowing, nutsgrabbing and stamping on somebody. Preferably the 'hard man' of the opponent. What can I say, the man is a living legend for me.:D
Would've loved to see him play against somebody like Vinny Jones.

Sourness was a nasty ba.t.rd.
if we're looking outside these shores,Mattarazzi is an ameteur compared to Claudio Gentile who was also a far better defender for the record and Diego Pablo Simeone was utter filth on a football pitch. Ask David Beckham if you have any doubts

Andoni Goikoetxea aka 'the butcher of bilbao'
