No chance did you hear those chants and you heard them from watching on the TV too ??

Its weird how some fans have so much hatred for a rival/local team that the things they see and hear, gets twisted into something nasty to help fuel that hatred.

During 80s we regularly sang - no matter who we were playing - to the tune of land of hope and glory:

"We hate Nottingham Forest, we hate liberpool too (they're sh*t!)
We hate city and united
But Everton we love you".

The offensive runway chant is to the same tune but I honestly can't remember hearing it sung at GP. EDIT SORRY just thought about it and runway chant is a different tune. I know I heard it somewhere but cannot remember it at GP and I don't even know the full words of it.

There was regular trouble after matches with united then so there was never any kind of a love in with them
