It's been reported that there was a camera in the car with him mate.

Nothing said about a cameraman. Knowing deadline day it's quite possible that someone's seen a Panasonic DLR on Sylvain's passenger seat and the next thing you know is that he's being filmed on his way to the airport.

He has even put in a couple of good performances this season - Lille and Wolfsburg away for instance. they have just been overshadowed by his mistakes.

His recent poor form is not the result of the aging process; it has happened too quick for that. Last season he was well up to the task. The whole team's form has gone off the cliff, and that is not Distin's fault.

He's been like a one man campaign to take us down in the last few months though, and his previous decent form has no bearing on that.

Personally have a lot of time for Distin, been a great servant. His performances have never dropped. If we cannot give him the minutes he want's I understand him seeking a move elsewhere - We do need a replacement prior to his departure.
