2019/20 Djibril Sidibe

Why would we permanently sign sign someone who was clearly targeted by the opposition as the weak link against arsenal. I don't care what the price is we should swerve.

The question will be what budget we are working with this summer, and what are our most important areas to recruit.
If we want a RB, CB, CM, RW and LB cover and GK cover then we are after a lot and somethings got to give.
I would rather go for fewer, better quality players than BBC a bums on seats approach.

I don't mind him but he's not of the quality required to push us on.

Even if we had more than one competent midfielder fit, we'd still need better.

£12m on a 28-year-old who isn't going to improve – it just seems pointless.

That money can be better spent putting towards a quality player who can fill that position for the next 4-5 seasons.

I agree, but it probably means a sacrifice elsewhere. unless the answer is JJK.

If Sidibe is preferred to Coleman then surely neither are 'good enough'...

Every player gets an abysmal performance over the season, it’s just one of those things that happens. Sidibe has now had at least 3 and as a defender if you have an absolute shocker you concede. Yes he has put in a fair few good 7/10’s and can get a nice tally of assists but the ability to pull an absolute implosion of a performance off on a semi regular basis is an absolute no for me at any price unfortunately.

Good option off the bench as a right winger, nothing more. The club don’t have the sense to sell Coleman or the ability it seems to look for a better option than Kenny/Sidibe to start at right back next season. I’d love to be proven wrong.

It will be determined by money and priorities.
When you look at what people say we need on her, we need an GK, RB, CB, LB, CM, RW and CF.
So not much change from £ 200m and that’s not even buying top quality.

Not overly bothered either way to be honest, he's a bit of an enigma, can be useful as his assists and shooting show but he can be disastrous as well.
