The best thing I can say about Sidibe is that he was rarely our worst player.
The worst thing I can say is that he was never our best player.
That is not worth spending money to acquire.

I’d say he had a fair few games where he was one or the other. No consistency.

....an ideal loan situation where you can assess a players worth whilst he helps the team out for a season. He was ok but Ancelotti/Brands clearly feel they can acquire better and I don’t disagree.

Remember Moyes playing young Seamus at left back away to Benfica in the Europa League back in the day, I think they beat us like 5-0 or something lol

He could definitely fizz a 30 yard pass about better than all of our midfielders, and some of his crosses were excellent. Unfortunately, he wasn't very good at the rest of it. Seemed a nice guy by all accounts but he was never going to be a long term solution.

Good luck to the guy with the rest of his career. Sidibé did an ok job for us when called upon, and him being here gave us the opportunity to send Jonjoe Kenny out on loan to get some valuable playing time and experience.
