Sidibe only turned 27 in July. For his experience, his performances for his first season in the prem, at that price, it would be stupid not to buy him in my opinion. Of course I'd prefer JJK to be our first choice next year, being a local blue, but you can't let bargains like sidibe pass by. You could easily sell him on in a year or two for what we paid, or even a profit. Coleman has been on a decline for a couple of years now, and sentiment aside, Sidibe and JJK should be our choices going into next season

It doesn’t matter if there’s someone who may be better, may be cheaper, may have more potential etc. But Sibide is playing well right now and by all accounts we have a very reasonable fee agreed for him. The risk is very low.

Why would you risk another player? You just wouldn’t, unless you’re obsessed with transfers.

It would be stupid to not sign him.
