Papa Shango
Player Valuation: £70m
He's played 40 games for us, that's enough to be allowed an opinion on him surely? Obviously anyone (of any age) can improve and prove you wrong, but i'm not sure it's unfair to judge him on 40 games. When we're talking about poor previous players nobody has to caveat their opinions with 'well to be fair Tony Thomas/Kroldrup/Stracqualursi/Keeley/Bernie Wright never got the chance to play 100 games for us so it's unfair to judge them' do they?
None of the ones you listed were young players making their way up the ranks though.
He is now at the age where he needs to be looking at playing every week and at Schalke he has pretty much made the RB role his and he has come on from there.
These things do make a difference. More confidence, more experience etc. Coleman was rubbish when he first came in, it took a loan at Blackpool to get him ready for the full time job.
As for Kroldrup. he was just one of those who didn't fit, he wasn't a bad player as such.
