In Aus, SBS a free to air channel had the rights to show one game a week and the highlights for a long time.

Now its on Fox Sports pay TV and they show most games. In QLD you can get setanta sports optional, but the games are on fox anyway.

In this case, they couldnt charge you more because you couldnt/wouldnt watch it.

agents and players know the tv money has increased so suddenly every player wants a wage increase, debts still need servicing, stadia need development and upkeep, i wouldnt be surprised if 'policing' charges had gone up.
