Do you think we'll see a reaction against Forest?

How will the team respond?

The idea of recovering from our worst result of the season to claim our best result of the season in six days is utterly fanciful.

We'll be soundly beaten and the Luton game will, even now, take on ridiculous proportions - but only because some will still think we have a chance.

We're gone - we just don't know it yet.

Rather that, than how he setup vs Chelsea.

This team isn't good enough to play a high line/front foot. There's not the pace for it.

Contain and hope to snide a result. It's a level of pragmatism and % football that should have seen us safe without the deduction, which is all that matters to avoid us doing a Sunderland.

Dyche, evidently forgot that last night. Piss poor to approach the game as he did.
Just don't understand what he was trying last night... For all Chelsea are, anything but the team. They have some great players given the opportunity, which Dyche seemed not understand...

The only thing thats been saving us was our defence, and that has turned to turd. Big stinky turd. Either they've given up on dyche, or they've downed tools from the 8 point deduction.

I think he's thought he could get at their defence/probably a reaction to being continually told by fans to play more expansive, attacking football.

He also didn't have Calvert-Lewin who can at least control a football to give us some chance of holding the ball up so he's overly committed/pushed the whole team forward.

We're in a sorry place. We need to defend deep but we don't have pace (Gray) or ball progression (Iwobi) to counter attack. It all means we become reliant on set pieces.

Those points deducted must be a big downer for the players.
They struggle to win a game then have the points wiped out.
The PL are out to kill this club.

He's had a lot of criticism for the "negative, defensive" football on display particularly after the Burnley game.

A wise man could therefore speculate that he purposely went more attacking as if to make the point clear to fans and critics alike that there is a reason why we operate with those tactics.

If there was ever a time to set up like and play as we did against Burnely with Gomes from the start again, last night was the night... If he is being swayed by fans to be expansive and entertaining he is in the wrong job.
