80 whole English pounds! I found it on youtube several years ago......I was going through a list of the top 20 most disturbing films and I can confirm this is right up there on that list.
Yep astounding. Whether anybody ever paid that is a different matter. It is certainly one of the most harrowing films I've ever seen, without being in any way gratuitous.

I also bought a DVD of the government's "protect and survive" public information films. I imagine if they dared air those today the millennials would meltdown in a social media outcry.

Tell me who I am ( Netflix )

Story of two twins, one of whom lost all of his memory, apart from being able to recognise his twin brother, after a motorbike accident aged 18.

Examines the relationship between the twins, as the healthy twin attempts to recreate a life time of memories for the other twin. All the while leaving out one major fact, that they were both horrendously abused by their mother as children.

Captivating, heartbreaking and tragic.

Threads was released on this day in 1984, the British apocalyptic war drama, anyone seen this? Seriously terrifiying stuff at the time, when nuclear war was a bigger threat.

It's still an incredible film - I watched it with the missus (Who said romance is dead?) a few months ago - she'd never seen it before but i'd been exposed to it as a terrified 12 year old in school - Really does stand up even now.

Shame that a lot of modern films in this genre don't really have the balls that Threads had

Tonight at 10.30 on the History Channel: Who Killed Tupac, it's a fascinating series. Not a fan of his music but the story is very interesting, well worth following.
