I have seen a few forums go down a similar road to this. For instance, I was a spectator when Bluekipper got burned to the ground. What had happened was a select few felt hard done to comparitively and then hacked the forum in revenge. Although I did not agree with what they did, I understood why they did it. The people policing that forum selected who they did not like and stringently applied the rules to them and only them. When those 'persecuted' mentioned how they were being mistreated they were either threatened with being removed or were simply removed. And the manner in which the brown noses sucked up just made the whole thing stink even worse.
Cliques do exist, everywhere. In the work place, at the ground, in your local boozer, on an internet forum. Usually not called cliques, but simply friendships or understandings or even odd jokes that crop up that leave the majority scratching their heads. Sadly there are far too many individuals that consider not being in on the joke as 'bullying' and kick up a stink. Strange that the same complainers do not give a moments thought when they themselves are throwing an 'inside joke' around. safety in numbers! safety in the clique!

We all want to be safe. Just as the weiss angel.
Not cliquish at all Danny. I have not attacked anyone in a situation where others back you up. Too many heated arguments have insued on here with those familiar names have backed up the clique in the midle of quarell. That is where things become ugly. Until you are on the wrong end of a situation of conflict, it is not clear that the clique actually exists, however, when something kicks off again against another member, that said member will see the situation as clear as day. I rest my case.
