it looks good in theory but how can you build a side at a time but move and rotate the ground and pitch?? cuz at some point you will have one half of the ground moved and rotated and the pitch not and vise versa. and when would you move and rotate the pitch? just a thought.

Trouble is, the financial viability of such a project. We could build a stadium on the moon, but it won't work.

I appreciate the clutching of straws here, but its all about the finances, and getting parties to back projects. Tesco's are in because they are going to get something out of it, what would they get out of it at GP?

as it stands, we are puttting at least £50 million into the pot, if we used that 50 mill to start the parkend from scratch and then continue the build round through the bullens, where would we stand at that point. one things for sure, it would still be goodison, and unless liverpool city gets chopped up again we would still be in the city boundaries.

But those £50M that Wyness have said we need to raise will be funded in most part by selling GP and selling the right to the name of the new stadium. If we stay at GP those revenues won't be coming, so we can't use that to increase the size of GP.
