I think the manner of which the toxic riddled corner of our fan base choose to defend themselves speaks volumes here. Reasoned posts being put forward by good bloos trying to help these poor souls only to be met with anger and denial. The first step is admitting you have a problem, this is your chance nobody is judging here.

u raise a pertinent point buddy. a quick click of the no vote reveals many i have personally vaulted today. they place their ego above everton perhaps. how do we help deal with the toxic and makes things better do u think?!

If our support is so toxic, why is our home form typically very strong, and our away form so meekly feeble?

I think we are a bit quiet and could sing a bit more, but we aren't toxic. A club with toxic support wouldn't spend their near entire existence in the top division.

Yes, we dont have a suportive fan base, but we do have a toxic one that dosent help the side they think they support.

I don't think it is that bad. People pay good money and have supported the club through near enough 25 years of straight mediocrity. The records away from home and against the top sides have been diabolical, despite spending a lot of cash. For that you expect the team to at least be able to pass for a professional outfit that has a good chance of coming away with a result but for whatever reason it hasn't happened more often than not. It is annoying and frustrating as hell.

That said I do die a little inside everytime there is a massive groan when a player messes up. One chap near me belted out 'take Walcott off' and however right he may have been (and in fairness Ancelotti made that substitution shortly afterwards), there isn't a place for it at the ground.

there are a few letting themselves down buddy as u would expect but this thread is about them so it helps add examples.

People have to want to change Snidey, all you can do as a reasoned supporter is set a good example and be there for the poor souls when the penny drops. The vaults offer education for those that WANT to see it.
