Don't worry Chris. Apparently the next two films in the comic book based big screen adventures featuring aliens, time travel, alternate realities and hole riddled plots are DeadPool & Wolverine (M/M) followed by Captain America again (M).

The balance in made up comic book characters gender is being restored to majority male leads after coming perilously close to 50/50 over the last 12 months. It's a bit harder to gauge the numbers around ethnicity since a lot of the flying people, sentient tree beings and extra-terrestial shapeshifters come from fictional planets other than Earth.

Of course there are those whose made up comic book backstory tells us are from Earth (or an alternate Earth) but some of these also come from areas where non-whites are the majority so that further complicates whatever point it is you're making about racial minorities. As for disabled people there is a chap with a robotic metal arm and another bloke who got his eye clawed out by an alien cat or something but I'm not 100% sure on this.

There was also a bloke with a dodgy heart but he's dead now since some drama around a big purple headed alien sticking some brightly coloured stones in a gauntlet and snapping his fingers.

Not too sure on the status of dietary choices within the predominantly 12 certificate cape based blockbuster franchise (Was it Vegan Shawarma they were tucking into?) but rest assured Spiderman, Thor, Ironman, The Incredible Hulk, the first Captain America, the dull one who fires arrows and even that pesky female Black Widow all appear to be heterosexual.
It's not as if I watch them anyway as I'm not 12 (or 30, which is the new 12 as far as I can see).

I liked the iron man, because it had a believable story and gaudians of the galaxy for its humour. The others were all a bit meh.
The most believable Marvel character is 'The Punisher' mate... Vietnam vet turned vigilante with no super powers other than his military training...

And unlike that pansy Batman, if you crossed paths with him, he'd blow your head off with a 12 gauge shotgun.

Maybe that's the hero this forum needs? 🤔
