That's just speculation mate.

The more likely explanation is that this DoF of ours is a cats paw for agents who want to set up their CL clients with players they want; in exchange for that, they hand him a list of players they either represent or have influence over who cant quite make CL elite club's first team.
ALso speculation

Can not wait till he punts Big Watch tomorrow night.

This poll is flawed, the first percentages don’t even add up

It didn't look to me that this was a fait accompli on Gueye. Silva certainly gave the impression that he was pissed off Gueye was sold this summer.

Overall, I dont see a lot of co-ordination between Brands and Silva.
There probably isn't beyond 'do you fancy this player', 'no', this one?'maybe'. 'Do you fancy this CB? ' 'I'd rather Zouma.' We can't get him yet. 'Wait then...'

Because if we had a REAL Director of Football in here, he'd be able to lure guy cemented into a CL club's starting 11 to come here, right mate?

I’m sure the irony of dismissing a hypothesis as speculation, then promoting your own hypothesis as the alternative and the likely series of events is not lost on you.

Nothing is lost on Dave he just likes to pop up stamp over everyone’s opinions like he’s just stood in dog muck and then spreads his own pooh all over GOT to get a reaction.

Well, an international break on the way. It's the time these things are usually done.

But what if we lose at S'ton and still he remains in his position? You fumers are going to have to bite that bullet HARD....and I cannot wait to see that. :coffee:

He could always do something revolutionary...like shift his arse out onto the road and view a few Championship players or reach into the continent's 'lesser' teams and unearth a gem or two himself...always supposing he has the ability to do that.

It's called a hierarchy of explanation, and it's based on what the evidence before us more readily backs up which determine the likelihood of that explanation.

In this instance: we know that Brands has a relationship with Raiola for one; we dont know that talk of Gueye having an understanding with EFC that he could leave last summer actually happened. There's documentary evidence for one, not the other.
