Lot of new ground to visit in the championship next season
Think I'm on 42 stadiums but that includes a few clubs like City, Wigan, Wembley...etc with 2 grounds.
I did that Grounds Map website, you on that?
Yeah I joined up to the website. Map seems a good idea but I imagine it gets updated every year.

It doesn’t include old grounds in your total from what I can see, it says I’ve done 21 out of 24 in The Championship so doesn’t include Highfield rd and The Baseball ground.

Yes, it says “out of the current 92”.

I love Lutons ground. Proper old school ground. A right mish mash of stands and awful access but great atmosphere. I think they've got permission to build a new stadium soon so get yourself over to experience Kenilworth before it's bulldozed. I live in Bedford just north of Luton so if you want to meet up I'm happy to go along with you.
That's the main reasoning for visiting Kenilworth Road. Always prepared and looking forward to meeting up with fellow Evertonians. Will let you know in due course.

Probably my fave lower league ground I visited so far is Adams Park. Went there in November 2016. Was a foggy day and the mist rolling in from the tree tops really made it an idyllic afternoon. Also had a great couple of hours in the club house after the match, with some very welcoming locals.

Developed quite a soft spot for Wycombe Wanderers since that day.

Went there on the League Cup run a few years ago. Access was via a set of metal steps and walkway between a couple of houses IIRC! Got the best pie (balti chicken) I’ve ever had at half time. ??

Visiting every clubs stadium in the English league.
Has anybody done it? I'm thinking about doing it with my son. I'm currently at 35 grounds but think I'll try and do them all with him.

Any tips or suggestions?
I’m on 81 of the 92. 121 visited in England total with another 40 in wales , scotland and Europe . Plus some rugby and NFL so about 170 ish all told . That’s not a lot compared to some but with very limited eye sight with other issues means I can only do it by train which is expensive and a pain . And unrealiable .Friday and Easter monday my next go at it.
I’ve done close to 20 new grounds already this season plus every Everton game.
I prefer it to watching everton far less bell ends at lower league games.

theres one ground that is going to be a nightmare to do and it’s forest green. and they are planning to move so I’ll have to go twice ffs lol

I was on my way to Grimsby earlier this season and a canal bridge wouldn’t lock meaning my train couldn’t pass and got cancelled near Scunthorpe So a wasted day and missed a 4-3 win,

ive been on the way to Greenock Morton and the game got called off. Luckily Clyde were at home so ticked them off instead .

i finally done Morton in January for a night game and was worth the wait. I enjoy the Scottish and German grounds the most.

Can't wait for my first post covid groundhopping trip to the UK. Fortunately I live very close to the Belgian border, meaning it's about a 3 hours drive to Calais. From Folkestone there quite a few options available. Especially staying over for a night. No problem there, as very close 2nd behind English football culture, there's English pub culture.

Will probably be between Pompey and Luton for the next trip.
The leaders of the Belgium league are a current ground hoppers favourite . I’ve heard it’s a great one.

I had my eye on Easter trips but we might be preoccupied with the cup semi-final.....

Man I feel lame compared to you lot, I’ve only ever been to 8 football stadiums and one Rugby League

Goodison
Anfield
Prenton Park
Moss Rose (my uncle was a linesman for Macclesfield v Shrewsbury nearly 20 years ago)
Wembley
Bowden’s Park (my uncle reffed a pre season game between Cheddar FC and Yeovil when I stayed with him for a week one summer)
Nou Camp
Olympic Stadium Barca (pre Espanyol moving in)

Springfield Park (original home of Wigan Warriors RLC)
